What is a Quithel?
Well .. I would like to know too! In this case it is the name associated with a hill/ridge that my now ex farmhouse (sold Sept '01) sits on 20 miles South of Aberdeen, Scotland (and hence the house name).. there is a Cornish word that someone identified but no definitions yet.. it could be associated with Kin-tel (spelling??) - old scots for corn stouk .. but the soil is not good enough for that .. or Quintus for 5th ridge from the Roman marching camp about 5 miles up the road but the idea that something has hung around for so long from a camp that lasted maybe 5 years maximum around 80 AD is a bit far fetched .. and Qu does not appear in Scots, Gaelic or Norse so where did it come from apart from English ... anyway an amazing prize for the first correct answer!

To be fast and have facts. I live 7 miles from the telephone exchange and pay for my access .. many is the site that I have not fully explored because it takes too long to load .. so what you get here is designed to be fast .. and have facts .. pictures will be links .. if you want them you can have them.

Well this site is principally Mazda MX5 / Eunos Roadster / Mazda Miata information culled from surfing/newsgroups since Jan '98 .. there is a small amount of original information from my own work but the rest just started as a convenient way to record information that I found useful .. this grew and I kept answering questions from it and using it myself .. so it is not a polished graphics demonstration, more a dry source of information .. so enjoy the fruits of other's labour!
